If you or someone you know are in need of housing assistance, please give NEKCA a call so that we may support you. We work with individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness by providing housing navigation services across the NEK.
Unfortunately, NEKCA is unable to provide emergency housing assistance, but we will help connect participants to our community partners.
Our Housing Support Specialists will connect you with Economic Services or 2-1-1 who provide emergency housing in our region.

If it is afterhours or a weekend, please call 2-1-1 for immediate assistance.
NEKCA offers temporary housing and housing services for the following groups of our neighbors who have an especially hard time with housing:
Housing for Youth ( Ages 18-24)
In Newport, we provide transitional housing for young people in need of a safe place to live. Other wrap around services and supports are provided as well – please click here for more info on all Youth services.
After hours emergency response: call 911 for an emergency or your local police. Ask to speak with someone from NEKCA’s Youth Services.
