Repair Circles

Repair Circles

Repair Circles repair harm and strengthen communities by supporting truthful accountability, meaningful communication, and collaborative problem‑solving. Through inclusive processes, restorative justice promotes healing for those harmed, encourages positive change for those who caused harm, and builds safer, more connected communities.

What participants can expect from participation in the program:

  • Trained community volunteers and facilitators who listen without judgment
  • A calm, respectful, and confidential environment
  • A chance to speak for themselves—not be spoken for
  • Participants help create an agreement that fits their situation. It might include:
    • Letters of apology
    • Community service
    • Skill‑building or educational activities
    • Restitution (if appropriate)
    • Reflection or personal‑development tasks
  • Every plan is individualized and achievable.
